Cannabidiol (CBD) is an organic compound that comes from the leaves, stalks, and flowers of industrial hemp or cannabis plant. It is the most widely accepted non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis. CBD oil should not be confused with marijuana even though they both come from cannabis; we extract the CBD oil contained in The Greeen House products from industrial hemp.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is just one of over 85 cannabinoids that is identified in the cannabis plant. CBD Oil is becoming increasingly popular among the masses for having a wide scope of medicinal benefits – due to clinical reports and mounds of test data showing little to no side effects and a lack of psychoactivity (typically associated with marijuana products and high THC).

Cannabidiol (CBD) is not only a major phytocannabinoid, it is the most concentrated form from the three main cannabis plants. The three main forms to use cannabis are Hashish, Resin, & Oil.

Phytocannabinoids

For the first time in 1964, CBD isolation was reported and it was the beginning of cannabinoid synthesisation. Originally, this synthesis started on CBG, but since CBG is present in most of the Cannabis types in small amounts, the majority of the research was concentrated on THC and CBD. Besides the Cannabinoids that are naturally occurring in nature, pharmaceutical companies have synthesized cannabinoid compounds in order to market leading drugs in the pharmaceutical market. Some of these chemically modified drugs do not have psychoactive effects, but retain some of the health benefits from the cannabinoid properties. However, some of these synthetic drugs can have a life-threatening adverse effect, or cause other issues in the human body. Phytocannabinoids, on the other hand, have been used for many years, and no life-threatening side effects have ever been reported.

CBD or cannabidiol is the main active compound in hemp, and unlike THC, it is not psychoactive, so it doesn’t make people high. As you know, inside the human body there’s the endocannabinoid system, with receptors spread throughout the brain and body.

CBD oil and other hemp-extracted products are perfectly legal to be used and sold within the United States. The growing, processing, and selling of hemp extracts – including cannabinoids from industrial hemp – is possible through federal regulation within Section 7606 of the Agricultural Act of 2014 which the U.S. Congress passed and signed into law.

Because CBD is a non-psychoactive component from industrial hemp, it doesn’t any elements of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) that is familiar with cannabis; therefore, there’s no “high” effect as a result of using CBD.

CBD affects the body by triggering the receptors of the endocannabinoid system within your brain and nervous system. These receptors regulate various body parts and systems – results may vary based on your purpose for using CBD.

CBD effects can usually take up to 30 minutes depending on the dosage. Because there are no psychoactive ingredients with CBD oil, there is no “high” effect; however, a significant decrease in symptoms – reduced pain, calming sense, etc. – should be noticeable. Again, results are dependent on your dosage
and purpose for using CBD.

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a complex arrangement of cannabinoid receptors within the brain and nervous system of humans and other mammals. These receptors regulate various functions of the body and are responsive to cannabinoids from hemp plants. The ECS affects many different body systems including but not limited to sleep, appetite, mood, pain, and memory.

Any side effects of CBD are insignificant at best – nowhere near as relevant as those side effects from pharmaceutical medicines that are approved by the FDA. The most that CBD users have reported is minor abdominal discomfort or mild sedation. Again, there’s no “high” effect or psychoactive properties with CBD, so no worries about your ability to perform day-to-day duties.

CBD dosages will vary from person to person. Some cases may only need a little dosage while others may require higher intakes – it depends on which symptoms you’re trying to relieve. There are no reports of any lethal or deadly doses of CBD.

The “entourage effect” describes utilizing all of the beneficial compounds found in hemp rather than just a single-compound extracts; two Israeli scientists first used the term in the late 1990s.

Cannabinoids are typically molecular compounds naturally made from hemp plants; however, they are also found in other plants and produce by our bodies. Science classifies cannabinoids as fatty compounds that play vital roles within our immune and central nervous system.

Our full-spectrum products contain less than 0.3% THC meaning that any THC found in our products is at a trace level. For instance a product may have .07% THC by weight (.3% is the legal limit). When considering that a user may take 10 – 20 drops per day of one of our products, and even that will be subject to some loss due to the absorption process by the body, it is highly unlikely that any of our products would trigger positive on a standard drug test.

That being said, while improbable it is not totally impossible to test positive after using full spectrum CBD oil. While extremely unlikely, there are some very sophisticated tests that could possibly pick up on that small of a trace amount in your system. However that type of test, while increasing the possibility of finding minuscule trace amounts of THC are not the standard type test used for employment or patient testing.

We have tested this in house and to-date have never seen a positive result. As well, we have never had a single report of any of our products producing a positive for THC.

Unfortunately, because of those trace amounts of THC and because it is technically possible, though highly unlikely, a certain level of test could pick up these trace amounts, prohibiting us from being able to give a 100% guarantee.

Hemp and marijuana essentially come from the same plant family, cannabis sativa. The main difference between the two is their level of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) – the illegal, psychotropic cannabinoid. According to the Agricultural Act of 2014, the Obama Administration describes legal hemp plants as containing less than 0.3% THC which also makes cannabinoids extracted from hemp, such as Cannabidiol (CBD), legal as well.

Broad Spectrum extraction is a process that allows preservation of valuable terpenoids, essential oils, amino acids, and other beneficial cannabinoids.

Some people prefer to consume CBD in conjunction with all the other naturally occurring cannabinoids (full-spectrum). Others prefer to only consume CBD by itself (isolate). Some people believe full-spectrum oils perform better for health concerns due to the “entourage effect” of all cannabinoids working together synergistically, while others indicate tremendous results from our CBD Isolate products.

The idea behind full-spectrum is you have the whole plant working as nature intended, with all of the cannabinoids, terpenes and fatty-acids working together, the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. However, in some cases, CBD isolate may work better for certain people. In cases where an individual has severe allergies or aversions, CBD isolate is typically preferred. With limited medical research, at this point, it is a personal preference as to which is best in any individual case.

Not at all – The Greeen House legally operates in full accordance with the Federal Hemp Law. Our products categorize as hemp dietary supplements which are legal to be purchased anywhere in the U.S.

The Green House’s full-spectrum hemp oils contain dozens of cannabinoids patented by the US Department of Health and Human Services as antioxidants and neuroprotectants, including cannabidiol (CBD). Our CBD Isolate products contain only the single CBD cannabinoid without the other complimentary.

When you first begin your investigation into CBD, it’s natural to be skeptical of how one compound could effect so many conditions. To truly understand the power of CBD you have to understand the basics of the Endocannabinoid System.

Discovered in the late 1990s, all mammals produce cannabinoids naturally as part of what’s called our “Endocannabinoid System” (ECS). The ECS is a vast network of cell receptor proteins with many functions. Some describe the ECS as the greatest neurotransmitter system in the body. It plays an indispensable role in just about everything, including: mood, memory, motor control, immune function, pain perception, appetite, sleep, bone development and more.

Four primary purposes of the ECS include neuroprotection, stress recovery, immune balance, and homeostatic regulation. Homeostasis is the system responsible for creating and maintaining the body’s optimum energy balance. CBD taps into this balancing system to produce its multitude of therapeutic effects. CBD is able to interact with cells throughout our bodies because the molecule has a similar composition to the endocannabinoids the body produces naturally. Endo means inside and cannabinoid refers to action on cannabinoid receptors. In contrast, the cannabinoids in the cannabis plant are technically called phytocannabinoids.

As mammals, we have cannabinoid receptors all throughout the entire body. CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors are present in the brain, every organ, every cell and even at the sub-cellular level. By adding natural plant-based cannabinoids into our diet we increase the overall GAIN of the ECS system and awaken our bodies intrinsic ability to heal itself.

What’s the proper way to store CBD products from The Greeen House?
We suggest storing our products in a dry, cool area with no direct exposure to constant light or excessive heat.

There is a “shelf life” mainly for our CBD vape oil which means there’s a timeline it should be consumed. With proper storage, we guarantee 3 to 4 months for vape oils and up to 2 years for other products from The Greeen House.

The right amount of CBD can assist in change in your life
A basic CBD oil dose works excellent for general health. But for those who have severe conditions, the best dosage can provide an entire brand-new lease on your health.
CBD (cannabidiol) is a plant compound found in hemp. Through various extraction techniques, CBD is sourced from hemp plants and stalks to develop an oil that uses tremendous health benefits. When consumed, CBD acts on the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) to promote homeostasis.
For those with particular health ailments, an increased CBD oil dose is needed to supply relief.
Because each person’s body and health condition is unique, it is difficult to set a predetermined dosage that is right for everyone. For severe symptoms, a higher dose may be required while mild symptoms won’t need as much. We recommend a consultation with your doctor or health professional to determine an amount right for you.
